About me
Band Manager
Gabriela is a proud wife, mother, and music professional with a passion for family, music, and giving back to the community that inspires her.
From singing and dancing at just the age of three, to managing her son’s jazz band, Jordan Hernandez & The Quintessentials, Gabriela’s life has always been rooted in music and performance. Originally from Orange County, California, she studied Flamenco, Jazz, and Ballet at Blanca Luz Academy. At eight years old, she also began acting and auditioned for commercials in Burbank, California. She later attended and graduated from the Barbizon School of Modeling. Gabriela was nominated as Best Model/Actor by the Hispanic Newsletter and showcased her singing talent on Los Angeles’ Hispanic television channel.
After relocating to Savannah, Georgia, Gabriela became a Christian lead singer where she sang for many years, eventually she discovered that her son, Jordan Hernandez, wanted to pursue a career in jazz and at that moment, Gabriela realized her calling was to step up as his manager and promoter, giving him the oppurtunity to thrive in the music industry.
Today, she’s most proud of her role as band manager. She says, “I enjoy every moment. Just watching my son on stage doing what he loves is worth a lifetime of joy.”

Why Gabriela Loves Live Like Locals
The reason Gabriela would love to be a Live Like Locals ambassador is because they give so much to the community. Their goal is to reach out to local entrepreneurs, whether in the arts, real estate, small businesses, local bands, sports, vendors, festivals, and more. They connect people and keep the community informed about what’s happening in their city, something she says is rare to see.
They help raise money, promote businesses professionally, and build bridges with corporations. Live Like Locals also shares true testimonies of real working-class people and their day-to-day lives.
She says, “I have had the honor of working with this outstanding organization’s founder, Jose Rosa, for over a year. He is a very talented person and someone I am proud to call a mentor. It would be an honor to serve as an ambassador.”
