Fun Night of Activities
We’ve partnered with Chatham County Parks and Recreation to host a series of FREE, family-friendly events atl County parks. The first in the series is a Movie Night and Night Market. This event is FULL of fun activities and cultural learning.
Each event is FREE to attend. We’ll also have FREE ACTIVITIES for all ages.
At 4PM, the open-fire cooking demonstration begins.
At 5PM, enjoy a the sites and sounds of traditional African Drummers; immediately followed by a traditional African Dance lesson.

The Night Market and Food Trucks will be available throughout the event.
Enjoy The Princess and the Frog on the Big Screen.
The movie will begin as soon as it gets dark.
Come early and enjoy the activities before the movie begins.
Outdoor, Open-fire Cooking Demo @ 4PM
Chatham County Parks and Recreation is leading an outdoor, open fire cooking demonstration.
This is a hands on cooking lesson.
You’ll even get to taste test the food prepared.
If you’re an avid camper or just want to learn how to cook outdoors and enjoy the beautiful Savannah weather, this is such a cool and tasty activity to participate in.
African Drums & Dance Lesson Starting @ 5PM
February is Black History month.
We’re celebrating with traditional African music and dance.
Start your evening with rhythm, movement, and culture!
Experience the vibrant beats of authentic African drums, led by skilled performers who will transport you to the heart of Africa. Then, step into the rhythm yourself during a high-energy dance lesson where you’ll learn moves inspired by traditional African dances.
All ages are welcome to participate. Come as you are—the instructors will guide you every step of the way. All you need to bring is your energy and enthusiasm!
