#5: A Rising Tide – The Savannah Performing Arts Festival’s Inaugural Gala

On Thursday, February 20, the Savannah Cultural Arts Center will be transformed into an elegant celebration of the performing arts. Themed A Rising Tide, this prestigious gala features live performances, community awards, a gourmet dinner, and a few surprises.

Savannah’s vibrant arts scene will be recognized with several awards, including the Bill Irwin Trailblazer Award, the Pen to Paper Award presented by Renée LaSalle, and the Next Generation Award presented by Roger Moss. The event, running from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., has limited seating left at $70 per ticket, so grab yours before they’re gone!

#4: Gordonston Art Fair

If you love local art and crafts, make sure to visit Juliette Gordon Low Park in Gordonston on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This annual fine arts and crafts fair showcases a diverse range of local and regional artists and artisans. Beyond the beautiful artwork, there will be gently used book and plant sales, food trucks, live music, and a supervised children’s craft area. Whether you’re looking for a unique piece for your home or a fun way to spend a Saturday, the Gordonston Art Fair is the place to be!

#3: Skidaway Island Half Marathon & 5K

Lace-up your running shoes because on Saturday, February 22, runners will take on one of Savannah’s most scenic courses at the Skidaway Island Half Marathon & 5K.

This isn’t just any race—it’s an exclusive opportunity to run through the beautiful and private Landings Association and Landings Club neighborhood. The half marathon kicks off at 7:30 a.m., with the 5K following at 8:00 a.m.. Participants will receive free parking, race photos, a high-performance tech race shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a special treat from River Street Sweets. With 800 runners in the half marathon and 200 in the 5K, this race is an exciting way to experience the charm of Skidaway Island while staying active.

#2: Georgia Bridal Show

Brides-to-be, this one’s for you! On Sunday, February 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Savannah Convention Center will host the Georgia Bridal Show—your one-stop shop for all things wedding!

From meeting photographers, caterers, and DJs to trying on gowns and tuxedos, this event allows engaged couples to plan their dream wedding in one convenient place. One of the main highlights is the award-winning bridal fashion show, featuring professional models, dancers, live entertainment, and recording artists. Plus, attendees who register will have the chance to win an all-inclusive honeymoon trip at the end of the show!

#1: Touch A Truck 2025

Taking the top spot this week is Touch A Truck 2025, returning on Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This beloved event allows kids (and kids at heart) to climb, explore, and interact with the vehicles that build and protect our community.

Held at Buddies and Blessings, admission is only $5 per person or $20 for a family pass (up to six members). For those who prefer a quieter experience, there will be a Reduced Noise Time from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with no horns, sirens, or loud music.

This year’s Touch A Truck has an extra special meaning—it now benefits Buddies and Blessings, a faith-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting differently-abled individuals. After being canceled last year, the event is back thanks to overwhelming community support, and it’s bigger and better than ever!
