
Gilliard & Company Joins us at the Spring Fling at Tom Triplett Park
A Community-Driven Event Supporting Foster Youth
On May 3, 2025, Gilliard & Company will lead a charity walk at the Spring Fling at Tom Triplett Park hosted by Live Like Locals Savannah and Chatham County Parks & Recreation.
This addition to the Spring Fling demonstrates how Live Like Locals and Chatham County Parks & Recreation are utilizing their partnership to create opportunities for non-profits like Gilliard & Company to become part of community-building efforts.
A Walk with a Cause: The Blue Ribbon Walk
The event begins with the Blue Ribbon Walk, a 1.5-mile scenic walk around the beautiful lake at Tom Triplett Park. This walk symbolizes unity and community commitment to empowering foster youth transitioning to independent living. Joining the walk consists of a $25 registration fee. Proceeds support Gilliard & Company’s vital programs. The walk is inclusive, being stroller-friendly, wheelchair-accessible, and welcoming for well-behaved dogs on leashes.
Spring Fling: More Than Just a Walk
Following the Blue Ribbon Walk, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities during the Spring Fling, including:
- 🍔 Food Trucks featuring delicious local cuisine.
- 🛍️ Local Vendors showcasing unique and handcrafted items.
- 🎡 Kid Zone Games providing entertainment for young attendees.
